Hi there!
My name is Esther, as you will have gathered from above along with some other bits and pieces about me. So what else can I tell you?
Well first of all, I love to travel - I’m always thinking about where I want to explore next and I don’t think I’ll ever cease to be amazed by the world. I’ve been lucky enough to see a lot of places already and I’m really looking forward to visiting all the countries on our list! I want to learn about other societies and education systems and I can’t wait to meet lots of new people. Living with a host family will be a completely new experience for me but it’s something which I know will be great fun and that I’m very excited about.
I’m also interested in art and music: I really enjoy photography, architecture, going to art exhibitions and concerts and playing the piano. I like to watch films in my free time as well. Although I don’t play any team sports, I love skiing, walking and kayaking and I’ve even had the chance to try skydiving which was amazing! I like cooking and baking too and trying new food while travelling is one of my favourite things.
I guess overall I’d say that I’m a naturally inquisitive person who loves to learn new things and I think I’m very open-minded. I have a real passion for science and hope to study Physics and Maths at university next year. After this year I also hope to understand myself a little better and become a more confident person.
